BEGINNING OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

1) Sri Ramakrishna Adarsa Sanskrit College

Sanskrit is the Mother of Indian languages and the gateway to our culture. To preserve this ancient treasure and to hand it over to the next generation we have started a Sanskrit College called Sri Ramakrishna Adarsa Sanskrit College here in 1983, with the affiliation of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India). The college is one of its kind in the whole of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission. It offers Prak Sastri(+2), Sastri(B.A) and Acharya(M.A) courses.
 2) Sri Ramakrishna Sanskrit Pathasala
The Pathasala was started in 1976. It is affiliated to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai, and provides free Sanskrit coaching classes to school going children.
3) Computer Classes
Information Technology has become an essential ingredient of human life. From ATM to Railway Booking, from IBPS S Exams to Sabarimala queues, from PSC applications to Online shopping, knowledge of computer is essential. So we are conducting computer classes for school students from financially poor background as well as for college students to upgrade their knowledge in computer and to fine-tune their skills in this field.
4) Astrology Classes
Astrology is a mythical part of science which can be understood only by researching on it. To open the gateway to that vast field we are conducting classes in Astrology on every Saturday.
5) Child Welfare
Every afternoon, special coaching classes are conducted for Scholl-going poor children. The Ashrama also distributes food items, toiletries, bags, shoes, notebooks and umbrellas to them. Moral education classes are also conducted.
6) Hostel
Though there are many students from backward/tribal areas, eager to study Sanskrit, they find it difficult to join the College owing to their poverty and remoteness of home. To help the needy and meritorious students, we conduct a hostel with free boarding-cum-lodging facilities. We also distribute text books and notebooks to them. Scholarships are also given to deserving students.
HEALTH
a) Sri Sarada Charitable Homoeo Dispensary
A Charitable Homoeopathic dispensary with eminent doctors offers free consultation and medicine to the patients. A healthy world is our aim and lack of money should not block anyone from getting good treatment.
b) Ayurvedic Camp
Besides the Homoeo Dispensary, we are conducting a free Ayurvedic medical camp on second Saturdays.
